THE REGULATION OF ULUDAG PHILOSOPHY ASSOCIATION

The Title and the Centre of Association Article 1- The Title of the Association is “Uludag Philosophy Association”. The Centre of the Association is in Bursa, Turkey The Association is entitled to open agency in Turkey or in foreign countries. The Scope and the Purpose of the Association, and the Operation Forms and the Operation Subjects that Fulfill this Purpose Article 2- The association is formed with an effort to actualize following issues:  to meet peoples want regarding their philosophical, cultural, artistic and scientific activities; to make a contribution for the formation of an infrastructure that will supply a life under free-thought and human rights; and to develop a consciousness on being tolerant for different life styles and on free thought and to cope with and solve problems. The Operation of Association and the Subjects of Study a) The association supplies members and generally people a milieu for philosophical and scientific knowledge presentations by maintaining seminar, conference, symposium, congress, course, workshop and reading groups  in order to set philosophical and scientific thought. b) It makes activities for the members and for the other participants on the improvement of the awareness concerning international human rights, dialogue and peace. c) It forms and runs single or common projects with national and international foundations according to the targets of the association. d) It makes every kind of revenue-generating activities such as donation and fund drive, dinner organizations in order to run its activities. It accepts monetary contribution and aid in kind, donation and loan from national and international donors, uses this sources for the purposes of association and serves this benefits for members. It buys rents or sales real estates and movable goods needed for location and to actualize its activities. The association is entitled to set up locals. It is also entitled to the construction of every kind of building and to put demand on the disposition and the operation of movable goods and real estates. Because of having common study fields, it serves various tasks with the ministries of Culture and Education of Turkish Republic, State Ministry of Women and Human Rights, TUBITAK (The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey), TUBA ( Turkish Science Academy), DPT (State Planning Organization) and with local governments and non governmental organizations. e) It organizes fair, festival, exhibition, bazaar, seminar etc. for the presentation, exhibition and the marketing of member’s philosophical, cultural and scientific activities in the country or in foreign countries. It participates to such organizations and mediates for the members’ participation. f) It displays activity on poster, periodical, book, invitation card; advertisement press works pertinent to its activity topics, and presentation and information by electronic milieu (internet). g) It organizes social, cultural and philosophical meetings, conversations, conferences, dinner, screening, exhibition, celebration, ceremony, trip etc. so as to increase acquaintanceship and to develop a fellow feeling between members and to gain new members; besides creating some facilities and sites for the participants sphere time activities. h) The Association cooperates with all public and private foundations, local government units, and professional organizations and with nongovernmental organizations in accordance with the purposes of association. i) The association is entitled to open locals, to cooperate with other associations and to join confederacy that is present or will be founded in the future with the same targets. j) In order to run association’s activities, it forms study groups. The Association’s Field of Activity The association displays activity in social fields.
